Senior iOS Software Engineer, Shopping Flow and Content E-Commerce

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other disciplines to explore the next generation of shopping experiences on TikTok.
• Be responsible for building an intuitive and reliable shopping flow experience, including browsing product details, check-out, shopping, return, refund, and related processes.
• Be responsible for building excellent shopping experiences in TikTok live streaming and short videos, and developing tools for live streamers.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors with experience in native iOS development.
• Proven experience in understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of iOS platform.
• Proficiency in Objective-C or Swift.
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of business, especially e-commerce business, technical abstraction and system module design.
• Team communication and collaboration skills, especially cross-timezone collaboration.
• Passion for or proven experience in building consumer-facing products.

Qualifications

• Experience in native iOS development with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.

• The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194,000 - $355,000 annually, with potential for additional bonuses, incentives, and stock units.
