Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple AI initiatives across the full solution lifecycle, from scope definition and development to deployment, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Partner with data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of AI products.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, facilitate stakeholder communication, and enforce compliance with data privacy, security, and quality standards.
  • Mentor and guide project teams to adopt best practices in milestone completion, documentation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with executive sponsors, technical leads, and vendors to maintain strategic alignment and drive continuous improvement in AI project delivery.
  • Utilize Agile/Scrum, MLOps, DevOps, or similar frameworks to ensure iterative development and continuous delivery of AI solutions.
  • Document requirements, specifications, and system design in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Coordinate training for end users, ensure smooth handoff to production support, and manage change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and maintain documentation for institutional, state, and federal regulations.
  • Define, prioritize, and coordinate project team tasks, providing feedback on performance and professional development.
  • Establish and oversee project budgets, expenses, and inform management of budget status.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster best practices in AI project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six years of experience including five years in project management and five years in application and/or infrastructure services.
  • Experience managing large enterprise-scale IT projects, preferably in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning implementation projects.
  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, MLOps, or DevOps.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to Have

  • Master's Degree.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience managing AI and Machine Learning projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Preferred: Master's degree.
  • Preferred: PMI CAPM or PMP certification.
