Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the multi-year product vision for fraud detection and prevention, ensuring the approach evolves ahead of emerging fraud patterns and industry best practices.
  • Establish frameworks to prioritize opportunities, balance risk reduction with customer experience, and secure alignment with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of the latest fraud methodologies, bad actor tactics, and countermeasure technologies, partnering closely with data science, engineering, and operations to design scalable, accurate detection systems.
  • Lead cross-functional product development efforts across engineering, design, risk operations, finance, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
  • Translate complex risk concepts into clear product requirements and drive execution from concept to launch in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Develop deep domain expertise in customer workflows, empathizing with customer pain points and business risks, balancing fraud protection with user experience.
  • Partner with finance, billing, marketing, and sales to define maturity thresholds for monetization of fraud-related features.
  • Build business cases for pricing and packaging strategies, ensuring alignment between product maturity, customer value, and revenue growth.
  • Create communication and change management strategies for new features targeting both existing customers and prospects.
  • Act as a thought leader for fraud and agentic experiences within the company and industry, mentoring other product managers and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in SaaS or financial services, with at least 5 years focused on payments, risk, or fraud prevention.
  • Proven success delivering zero-to-one products and scaling them into mature, monetized offerings.
  • Strong track record of creating and using structured frameworks to prioritize product opportunities and drive alignment with executive stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of fraud detection methodologies, risk management frameworks, and emerging fraud tactics.
  • Ability to balance customer empathy with risk mitigation to build trusted, customer-friendly experiences.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with experience partnering across engineering, data science, operations, finance, and go-to-market teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform strategy, measure success, and iterate on product design.
  • Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments, creating clarity and durable strategies in new problem spaces.

  • Experience in financial technology or payment systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fraud prevention.
  • Experience with product monetization strategies and pricing models.
