Senior Machine Learning Engineer I

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create proof of concepts (POCs) and run experiments to validate machine learning models.
• Build and deploy production-ready ML pipelines and solutions.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and implement machine learning algorithms.
• Design and conduct offline experiments and A/B tests to evaluate the impact of algorithmic changes on key business metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience applying machine learning in an industrial setting with a track record of delivering impactful results.
• 6+ months of experience building Generative AI applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and frameworks, with hands-on experience in training, tuning, and deploying models in production environments.
• Excellent software design and development skills in Python.
• Experience in one or more applied fields such as LLMs, Transformers, Recommendations, or Personalization.

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and Transformers.
• Experience with recommendations and personalization systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in applying machine learning techniques in production environments.

• Salary range: $109,000-$247,000 depending on location and experience.
