Senior Manager Advanced Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a team that performs advanced analytics and provides intelligence and recommendations to solve business issues to business partners.
• Conducts advanced analytic analyses including both qualitative and quantitative to identify trends, variations, patterns, and insights.
• Ensures team members produce accurate and on-time delivery of analyses and recommendations.
• Provides thought leadership and strategic thinking to translate business problems into analytical frameworks, and independently recommend actions and provide business insights.
• Leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning algorithms & recommendations.
• Presents findings from analyses and makes recommendations to leadership.
• Partners with leadership to ensure understanding of requirements and performance levers for each analysis.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis, and deliver presentations of findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or Information Technology
• 6+ years of modeling experience or related, including prior people management experience
• In lieu of education, 8+ years of modeling experience or related, including a master's degree
• In lieu of education, 10+ years of modeling experience or related, including a bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in Python coding, SAS, and SQL
• Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, telephone, printer, and calculator
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form
• Travel up to 25%

Nice to Have

• FRM, CFA, SAS, AWS, Apache, Google certifications upon hire
• MBA, Masters in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or Information Technology
• Payments Network Experience
• 8+ years Data Science, Fraud Risk, Disputes Analytics, Operations Analytics, Modeling or related
• Additional Python coding skills, SAS, SQL
