Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-quality business intelligence solutions using Qlik, Talend, Snowflake, and React JS Framework technologies.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including clinical to commercial business collaborators, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and develop data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik cloud products, integrated with Snowflake, Redshift, and AWS services, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
  • Handle the end-to-end development lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), data integration, and data quality assurance across multiple platforms.
  • Implement industry standards for data governance, data modeling, and data visualization to maintain consistency and accuracy across business intelligence solutions.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities across the entire BI stack, including data retrieval, transformation, and reporting processes.
  • Provide continuous process improvement through automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Qlik and other technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our business intelligence strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to operationalize new interfaces, functionalities, and document standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years confirmed experience in business intelligence development in Pharmaceutical and other industries, with a focus on Qlik products and data warehouse technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing analysis and testing, familiarity with creating use cases.
  • Strong expertise in Qlik Sense, including data modeling, scripting, dashboard development, and report generation.
  • In-depth knowledge of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Talend, and AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Redshift Spectrum, Glue) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best-practices and a keen eye for crafting intuitive and impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sophisticated data sets and derive important insights.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to encourage and guide a team of developers and analysts.
  • Experience in tuning performance and optimization techniques to improve query performance and report rendering speed across Snowflake and AWS platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and data security practices in Snowflake, Qlik, and AWS tools.

  • Experience with React JS Framework technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for data governance and security practices.
