Senior Manager Customer Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with sales leadership, account teams, and top customers to build a portfolio of reference accounts across various industries and Nutanix solutions.
• Help recruit customer contacts within accounts for participation in customer marketing programs such as advisory boards, communities, and user groups.
• Manage the development and promotion of customer stories, including written and video case studies.
• Secure referenceable customers for media and analyst relations, including press quotes, interviews, and customer speakers for events.
• Work with sales to increase customer submissions on peer review sites like Gartner Peer Insights and G2.
• Manage customer reference requests and fulfillment workflows via online applications.
• Manage or mentor a team of marketing professionals and share best practices.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Sales, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, and Partner Marketing.
• Promote Customer Marketing initiatives to Sales through education and regular communication.
• Ensure standardized processes and protocols for program delivery across regions and provide global support.
• Manage program budgets and supporting resources, including contractors and vendors.
• Regularly measure and report on customer engagement and program output, including participation, engagement, and content consumption.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of customer reference program management experience in high technology.
• Demonstrated success working directly with C-level and executive customers.
• 3-4 years of experience managing vendors, teams, and customer initiatives and programs.
• Proven success in developing strong relationships with sales and collaborating across functional and global teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong abilities in program development and management.
• BS/BA degree required; MBA is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with technology marketing and building customer reference programs in B2B environments.
• Experience working with media and analyst relations.

Qualifications

• Educational background with BS/BA; MBA preferred.
