About the Role

Starbucks is seeking a Senior Manager for Digital Consumer Experience within Global Channel Development, a strategic business unit that elevates and amplifies the Starbucks brand through at-home coffee, ready-to-drink, and foodservice solutions across 87 markets worldwide. The role involves developing and executing strategies to enhance digital experiences for consumers, impacting multiple markets and intersecting with retail business, requiring extensive global and cross-functional leadership. Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and implement Starbucks' digital strategies to enhance consumer experience and drive business growth within Global Channel Development.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer data to inform strategy development, ensuring digital initiatives meet consumer needs and preferences.
  • Map out and optimize the customer journey across all digital touchpoints to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Implement personalized marketing and engagement strategies using data analytics to increase consumer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and product teams, to execute digital initiatives effectively.
  • Engage with and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to secure buy-in and support for digital initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strategy development experience, ideally within a top-tier management consultancy, for a minimum of 5 years.
  • At least 3 years of experience with consumer-facing digital technologies, including eCommerce/DTC and related consumer experiences.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies such as SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media, along with performance metrics.
  • Leadership experience in problem solving across multi-discipline, cross-functional stakeholder groups.
  • People management experience for at least 3 years, including managing 3rd party vendors and developing 1-2 direct reports.
  • Good understanding of global franchise and non-franchise commercial operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Versatility, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and consumer-centric thinking.
  • Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape.
  • Ability to work independently with strong values aligned to Starbucks' mission and values.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in CPG and/or QSR industries, understanding of market dynamics and consumer trends.
  • Global perspective on franchise and non-franchise operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of strategy development experience, preferably in management consulting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing consumer-facing digital technologies and teams.
  • Experience with digital marketing, eCommerce/DTC, and associated consumer experiences.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional stakeholder management.
