About the Role

The Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing & Advocacy at Gap Inc. leads strategic vision for creator affiliate and advocacy efforts across multiple brands. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and own creator affiliate and advocacy strategies across multiple Gap Inc. brands, integrating efforts into seasonal plans and cross-functional opportunities for amplification
  • Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of affiliate and advocacy initiatives to support brand and product priorities, ensuring cultural relevance and ROI
  • Cultivate meaningful creator and advocate relationships that foster brand love and loyalty beyond one-off partnerships
  • Stay informed about platforms, tools, and trends shaping the creator economy, bringing fresh ideas and formats to the team
  • Partner with brand marketing, social, performance, legal, tech, and product teams, as well as creator and marketplace teams at social platforms, to ensure seamless integration of influence and advocacy efforts
  • Forecast, track, measure, and report on all efforts for ongoing optimization, leveraging data to identify new opportunities
  • Serve as a strategic voice, providing best practices and education to foster a creative and collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of marketing experience with 4-5 years in social and influencer marketing
  • Experience managing teams, with a proven track record of collaborative leadership and managing individual contributors
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Deep understanding of performance-driven influencer programs, affiliate marketing platforms, and creator partnership models
  • Success in balancing culture and commerce to deliver awareness and conversion
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and optimizing performance metrics for influence and affiliate campaigns
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, matrixed environment and drive meaningful change
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of turning ambiguity into action and infusing strategy across the enterprise

  • Experience in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with creator management platforms like CreatorIQ or similar
  • History collaborating with affiliate platforms such as LTK and ShopMy
