About the Role

Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform some of Pfizer's most critical business questions. The Commercial Analytics team collaborates globally with diverse expertise including data science, digital analytics, finance, and consulting to turn data into meaningful insights that impact patients' lives and support Pfizer's data-driven transformation. The Senior Manager, Performance Analytics & Insights, will focus on driving performance tracking, reporting, and insights generation for commercial performance, working closely with stakeholders across Pfizer to standardize and enhance the commercial reporting ecosystem and implement industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the build and standardization of the commercial reporting eco-system.
  • Develop and execute creation of in-house datasets to drive patient and HCP insights into infrastructure of care.
  • Frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to organization-wide performance reporting, including executive reporting.
  • Identify business partners' information needs and develop solutions to address those needs.
  • Connect reporting insights and datasets to tell compelling stories and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with other GCA teams to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders such as brand teams, leaders, and marketers.
  • Support dialogue to adapt global strategies and standardize performance metrics and tracking via report and insight data gathering from sources such as vendors, dashboards, and queries.
  • Leverage thought leadership to advance reporting and insights capabilities, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Perform analysis and performance tracking to understand impacts to business.
  • Partner with other analytic functions to utilize novel data sources and reporting methods, including real-world data and Data Science, to improve reporting processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a qualitative technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years' experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area.
  • Experience with analytics, statistics, and/or database knowledge and tools.
  • Extensive expertise in SQL, Python, Scala or similar programming languages.
  • Experience designing and building complex dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, or Looker.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing/RDBMS, ETL scripting tools, and IDEs.
  • Advanced knowledge of scripting tools for automation such as R, Python, Alteryx.
  • Knowledge of data cloud platforms like Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
  • Experience with business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data transformation.
  • Experience working in Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to oversee complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and ability to identify trends and opportunities from data.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively with peers.

Nice to Have

  • Recent Healthcare Life Sciences (pharma preferred) and ecosystem industry experience.
  • Commercial/marketing experience.
  • Experience with real-world data and Data Science applications.
  • Knowledge of data cloud platforms like Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a technical or quantitative discipline.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in biopharma, analytics, consulting, or related fields.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annual base salary ranging from $120,800 to $201,400.
  • Participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of base salary.
  • Eligibility for share-based long-term incentive programs.
  • Comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) plan with Pfizer matching contributions, additional retirement contributions, paid vacation, holidays, personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health coverage (medical, dental, vision).
  • Work location flexibility with 2-3 days onsite per week.
