Senior Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates, writes, and leads qualification packages, proposals, and leave-behind materials for pursuits.
• Assists with managing proposal schedules and deadlines, develops proposal outlines, and monitors proposal progress in partnership with pursuit champions.
• Collaborates with technical staff to write, review, and edit content for clarity, compliance, and key messaging.
• Works with pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients and competitors.
• Provides and receives peer feedback on pursuit materials.
• Organizes and may facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.
• Supports client service teams by preparing materials for meetings and participating in client service team discussions.
• May coordinate division public relations activities, including creating press releases, writing articles, and managing project awards.
• Organizes and coaches technical staff during presentation phases.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, MS Teams, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, CRM, and other communications-related software.
• Experience leading strategy and message development with persuasive communication skills across all levels of pursuit management.
• Ability to identify subject matter experts and incorporate industry data to implement win strategies.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent document quality control and editing skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Experience leading and implementing sales tools and practices, and resolving document compliance issues.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Dynamics CRM (aec360).
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilot and ChatGPT.
• Ability to act as a driver and steward of the firm's sales and marketing practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all management levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 6 years of relevant experience or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
