Senior Microsoft Solutions Data Architect to help daft an RFP including scope definition and technical requirements

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Help shape and draft the RFP, including scope definition and technical requirements.
• Act as a client-side technical lead to manage and oversee vendor delivery.
• Support governance framework development and translate business needs into solution design.
• Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure the project stays on schedule.
• Implement governance and data management strategies in a large organization.

Requirements

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate (or Purview-specific certifications when available).
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, ideally in the Microsoft ecosystem (Purview, M365, Fabric, etc.).
• Ability to help draft the RFP, including scope definition and technical requirements.
• Experience acting as a client-side technical lead to oversee vendor delivery.
• Skills to bridge business and technical teams, support governance framework development, and translate needs into solutions.
• Strong project coordination capabilities to track milestones, manage risks, and keep projects on schedule.
• Experience in implementing governance and data management in large organizations like the Region.
• Strong understanding of organizational change management principles related to data and digital transformation.

Nice to Have

• TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
• CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional).
