About the Role

The Senior Principal Health Data Solutions Engineer at Oracle is a role focused on designing, developing, and deploying AI applications on the AI Health Data Platform to address critical healthcare challenges. The position involves working closely with healthcare providers and stakeholders to create tailored solutions that improve healthcare delivery, reduce costs, and enhance the healthcare experience. Oracle Health aims to create a human-centric healthcare experience powered by unified global data, connecting clinical, operational, and financial data to improve care and decision-making across the health ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with customers to design, develop, and deploy AI applications on the AI Health Data Platform that address healthcare challenges.
Rapidly build data pipelines, tools, analytics, and data applications across domains such as Population Health, Life Sciences, and Research.
Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the platform based on customer needs.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Design and implement healthcare technology solutions, AI-driven analytics tools, and applications.
Build and iterate data products and applications on a cloud data platform.
Confidently present complex topics to CTO and executive audiences.
Work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Travel up to 25%.
Participate in a hybrid work environment with 1 day a week in the office.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), healthcare interoperability standards, and national health data sets.
Familiarity with healthcare industries such as Pharma, Life Sciences, Population Health, Payer, and National or State health programs.
10 years of experience in Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science in healthcare.

Nice to Have

Experience working with large-scale datasets and AI applications in healthcare.
Experience working with cloud platforms and data pipelines.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to executive audiences.

Qualifications

Educational background in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
10 years of professional experience in healthcare-related engineering, analytics, or data science.
