About the Role

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Preferred Care is a global service providing peace of mind through device repairs, replacements, and support, spanning all of Google's hardware portfolio. As we seek to improve and expand this program, we are looking for an experienced product leader to guide the development and growth of the product. In this role, you will lead the product goal, roadmap, and growth/GTM for Preferred Care, Google's flagship device protection program. You will focus on improving the user experience for Preferred Care, expanding the program globally, and growing the business.

Key Responsibilities

Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.
Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on technologies.
Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Nice to Have

Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
Experience with device protection programs or other carrier device protection programs.
Experience working with carriers, retailers, and third-party seller of device protection.
Experience managing device repair user experiences.
Experience scaling businesses to multiple countries.

Qualifications

Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Professional experience includes at least 8 years in product management or related roles.
Experience with taking technical products from conception to launch for at least 3 years.

Benefits & Perks

US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
