About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager who will own the 3PG product line like it was their own business and work with the rest of the 3PG team to develop new products and increase sales and profitability of existing products. The Senior Product Manager will manage day to day activities of the 3PG Product Management team in concert with group objectives. This role possesses an understanding of product positioning, attributes, and key benefits with the ability to support sales in presenting them to key customers. The ideal candidate will have a combination of customer focus, creativity, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and consistently drive for results. The Senior Product Manager reports directly to the Director, Product Management and will work closely with Systems Engineering, 3PG R&D, Field Sales, Supply Chain Management, Creative Services, Vendors, and Customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with Product Development or third-party suppliers to drive the development of new products from concept through implementation.
  • Coordinates the product portion of customer line reviews to key accounts.
  • Supervises other product managers and provides coaching, training, and direction.
  • In conjunction with sales and marketing, assists in the execution of business plans, promotions, new products, and packaging development to contribute and maximize the development of brand/business strategies.
  • Assembles, organizes, and maintains all product costs and customer pricing.
  • Develops pricing proposal models for new and existing accounts.
  • Assists in customer and vendor contract negotiations.
  • Supports the marketing department in the creation and editing of 3PG sales materials, including product catalog, marketing bulletins, and sell sheets.
  • Works with Supply Chain, Account Managers, and Operations to develop product forecasts.
  • Monitors industry trends and competitors to identify and respond to new opportunities based on market research, customer feedback, and market demand.
  • Manages standard catalog offering, analyzing and recommending product discontinuations.
  • Works directly with fulfillment vendors to develop customer promotion opportunities.
  • Monitors and analyzes promotional results and makes recommendations for future opportunities and improvements.
  • Assists in the development of brochures, gift displays, signage, and training materials in conjunction with marketing and creative services.
  • Establishes, maintains, and strengthens alliances with customers, internal teams, and fulfillment partners.
  • Develops product forecasts for accounts and vendors.
  • Attends industry trade shows and reports on trends and product opportunities.
  • Provides guidance to customers and sales team on key product attributes, competitive advantage, and pricing.

Requirements

  • 7-10 Years related Product Management Experience, with consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
  • PC Skills with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to understand the 'technology' of photography, with the ability to comprehend information when presented or trained.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 7-10 Years related Product Management Experience.
