We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of the EcoStruxure Building Data Platform, owning the end-to-end success of a data layer that normalizes, secures, and monetizes building data across the ecosystem. The role involves establishing product vision, guiding technical evolution, crafting commercial models, supporting partner networks, and driving alignment with product teams, all while fostering innovation and market adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft a 3-year product vision and business strategy with rolling 12-month OKRs to drive growth of the Data Platform.
  • Produce business-case financials (P&L, ROI, NPV) to secure funding and steer portfolio decisions annually.
  • Define success metrics such as data-layer attach rate, ARR growth, customer NPS, partner API calls, etc.
  • Quantify TAM/SAM/SOM, competitive positioning, and cross-business synergies; refresh bi-annually.
  • Maintain an outcome-oriented roadmap using SAFe/Agile, prioritized by customer value and effort.
  • Write PRDs/epics specifying data models, APIs, ingestion pipelines, governance, and privacy controls.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver secure, scalable services per industry-leading SLA.
  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of APIs and SDKs including launch, updates, versioning, SLAs, and deprecation.
  • Develop segmentation, positioning, and messaging for various customer segments.
  • Own pricing and packaging strategies, including consumption tiers, marketplace revenue share, and OEM licensing.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to develop adoption and expansion playbooks.
  • Drive marketing campaigns, webinars, whitepapers, and reference architectures to support product launches.
  • Develop scalable operating models including onboarding, support, and lifecycle management.
  • Establish frameworks to monitor SLAs for platform performance, support, and data privacy.
  • Stand up agile rituals, enforce security/privacy review gates, and communicate status to C-level stakeholders.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to foster a platform mindset and leverage the Data Platform as an integration hub.
  • Collaborate with CTO and standards bodies to refine technology choices and represent at industry standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, especially with software solutions managing data platforms.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in building management or industrial automation.
  • Experience with digital-enabled cloud service models, SaaS, PaaS, and DaaS products.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling platform products, particularly data layers or integration platforms.
  • Strong technical acumen and experience working closely with engineering teams on complex, scalable systems.
  • Self-starter capable of thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments and identifying new opportunities.
  • Expertise in user research methodologies, building user communities, and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate across large organizations and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
