Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Product Manager (SaaS Inline Security) will join Palo Alto Networks' Data Security team to define and execute a strategic vision for SaaS Security Inline products. The role involves addressing the growing risks associated with Shadow IT by helping organizations identify, assess, and secure their internal data against proliferation of SaaS applications, plugins, devices, and agents. The position requires close collaboration across cross-functional teams and alignment with partner product groups to deliver seamless, integrated solutions that protect valuable information and advance the company's cybersecurity mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the SaaS Security Inline product line.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop product prototypes and interfaces.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to inform product improvements and updates.
  • Work across functional agile teams including Engineering, UX, customer support, operations, finance, sales, and marketing.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships with network security and visualization teams, aligning on shared goals and delivering integrated solutions.
  • Drive joint sales initiatives (SKUs, solution bundles, incentives) and marketing efforts (collaterals, webinars, trade shows) with internal teams and partners.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent military experience.
  • 5+ years in product management.
  • Strong technical background with experience working with data scientists and ML engineers.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform product decisions.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience launching cloud products and services.
  • Demonstrable track record of success.

  • MBA.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent military experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation between $144,000 and $233,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location.
  • Potential inclusion of restricted stock units and a bonus.
