Senior Program Manager - Redwood City, CA We are looking for a senior program manager with experience of driving large enterprise scale software development programs in Redwood City, CA as Hybrid. You will be reporting to Director, Program Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive large enterprise scale software development programs from initiation to closure.
  • Support General Managers in Planning and Business reviews.
  • Support the Leadership on Portfolio management.
  • Support Architecture programs and reviews with the Informatica Architectural Review Board.
  • Lead product initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and remove blockers & impediments, setting a positive example for others to follow.
  • Manage project planning and execution, ensuring projects/releases are well-defined and of high quality.
  • Collaborate with R&D managers to help with release planning and prioritization of features and enhancements.
  • Provide strategic direction to the team, promoting the use of Agile practices, and methodologies.
  • Enhance our program management methodologies by applying your expertise in Agile development practices and industry best practices.
  • Ensure use and implementation of Informatica's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology across all projects.
  • Use your technical expertise to assess the technical complexity of proposed features, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Define, report, and maintain dashboards to track project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in handling large enterprise scale software development programs.
  • Work between Engineering/R&D, Cloud Operations, Compliance & Security, and Product Management teams in a collaborative fashion.
  • Experience managing projects with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including knowledge of cloud services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless computing.
  • Awareness of security best practices and compliance requirements relevant to SaaS products, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Understanding of canary deployments and management.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Tableau, EasyBI, and PowerBI.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of SaaS software development principles, including multi-tenancy, scalability, security, and data privacy.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile development practices and industry best practices.
  • Experience supporting architecture programs and reviews.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in program management.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
