Senior Program Manager - PM III - Charleston, SC

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• The Program Manager will be responsible for directing and regularly evaluating performance of assigned program tasks in terms of quality, cost control, and achievement of technical, schedule, performance and contractual objectives to ensure work results meet customer requirements.
• Provide assistance in program definition, organization, and direction of short and long-range plans.
• Manage multiple projects of medium to large scale through all iterations and phases of the project.
• Participate in a highly collaborative team environment, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle using Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Continually identify how teams can improve, while also resolving impediments and other blocking issues that arise during the sprint.
• Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management.
• Partner with the Team Leads in backlog prioritization as well as tracking and reporting metrics, providing visibility to the team and stakeholders and ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve team-level Agile performance; focus teams on customer value, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
• Provide direction to project activities to ensure successful implementation and support.
• Ensure all contract deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time.
• Understand and develop business proposals, financial performance reports, contract required reports and documents.
• Frequently interact with customers and functional peer groups, overseeing production and maintaining work schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
• Fifteen (15) years of technical experience in support of program/projects, including Equipment Support, System Support, and Programmatic Support.
• At least eight (8) years of Program Management experience, including Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
• Demonstrated technical experience in support of Navy C4I systems or other similar systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
• Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contractual requirements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Navy C4I systems or similar systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications
