Senior Project Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional projects for clients, overseeing project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Oversee project budgets and drive course corrections to maintain financial health.
• Organize internal teams to manage and implement projects while managing customer expectations.
• Manage a portfolio of unrelated projects simultaneously and provide transparency into progress to clients and management.
• Tailor project management approaches using techniques such as Agile and Waterfall based on project size and type.
• Develop integrated project schedules including critical path analysis and ensure resource execution as planned.
• Monitor, track, and control project changes through formal change management processes.
• Contribute to Datavail PMO standards, processes, and tools for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of Project/Program Management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 4 years managing ERP/SCM/HCM/EPM projects in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Experience leading globally sourced project teams using a global delivery model.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical, or a related field.
• 15+ years of professional services experience leading projects for external or internal customers.
• PMP or Agile implementation methodology experience.
• Hands-on work ethic and team-oriented attitude willing to support project success beyond traditional roles.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to interface with client leadership, including C-Suite.
• Experience successfully managing implementation projects.
• Ability to develop solutions for complex and unique challenges requiring ingenuity and creativity.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP/SCM/HCM/EPM systems.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM/HCM/EPM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Fusion Middleware.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical, or a related field.
• PMP or Agile implementation methodology certification.
