Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and constraints to complete project plan and conduct internal and external kick-off meetings.
• Create and manage project schedule, budget, communication plan, and risk register, including planning and execution of risk management plans.
• Align project plan with cross-functional groups, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, and develop mitigation plans and corrective actions when necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and third-party inspectors, build customer relationships, and resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Prepare internal and external project reports and conduct project status meetings.
• Manage project scope and changes, including preparing, submitting, and managing internal and external change orders.
• Conduct lessons learned to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience managing complex development or operations projects.
• BS degree required; engineering discipline preferred.
• Experience understanding customer specifications and contract terms.
• Knowledge of electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to travel to Utah less than 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field, with a preference for engineering disciplines.
• Experience with customer specifications and contract management.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous.
