The Automotive Program Office is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Advanced Technology (ATECH) development, focusing on developing advanced technologies and IP to disrupt future automotive markets, including SDVN and Battery Insights. This role involves aligning early feasibility and IP development with market and technology roadmaps, working closely with GMs, Fellows, Architects, Marketing, and Engineering, and driving transformational change in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that ATECH projects have clear goals, a clear timeline, are aligned with the business needs, are feasible, and meet the required Technology schedule to meet the Market disruption dates.
  • Develop and implement a rubric for a lightweight method of managing ATECHs.
  • Drive quick decisions where the ATECH schedule is not aligned with the Marketing/Technology needs.
  • Develop and implement a rubric for managing sprints.
  • Ensure that IP developments are resourced and using Project Success Method (PSM).
  • Lead crises management and resolve conflicts in an expert and professional manner.
  • Provide technical expertise/direction as required.
  • Clearly communicate project status on a regular basis to the project sponsors and Program Office.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Team Leadership experience in IC development.
  • Experience with Project Success Method (PSM) techniques.
  • Experience leading project managers across an entire portfolio of products.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field.
  • Knowledgeable about IC design technology and processes.
  • Knowledgeable about ADI's organization, culture, and strategic business interests.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the Project Success Method (PSM).

  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Action-oriented with the ability to drive interdisciplinary teams to meet customer needs and business strategy.
  • Attention to detail with the maturity to know which areas require focus.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision; ability to multitask.
  • Strong people skills; able to manage and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to motivate a technical/engineering team to be action-oriented, set priorities, solve problems, and keep commitments.
