As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will hold a critical position within our PacWest Team and will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects for a financial services client, overseeing Corporate Interior projects ranging from $1M to $30M+.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all phases of projects, including strategy, programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, procurement, permitting, execution and close out.
  • Develop high level estimates and schedules as part of the overall strategy and business case, incorporating benchmarking tools and vendor quotes.
  • Prepare project updates, identify and communicate risks early, and provide solutions to meet client-driven schedule and budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Read construction plans to identify potential areas of concern or hidden costs prior to GC contract execution.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as location strategy, program managers, and global real estate managers.
  • Ensure leadership is fully and accurately informed of all project issues.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders and vendors.
  • Monitor and manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory entities, and client expectations.
  • Act as the primary contact with the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop master project schedules and manage project performance against milestones and critical path items.
  • Develop detailed project budgets based on historical and market data.
  • Guide the client and team through design implementation phases including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and signoff.
  • Facilitate critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, stakeholders, and external users.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts and maintain all appropriate documentation.
  • Prepare RFPs for design and contractor services and manage vendor selection.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • 7-15 years of experience in project management, preferably in Corporate Interiors.
  • Experience managing complex high-end / high-touch Corporate Interior projects.
  • Experience managing multiple diverse projects ranging from $1M to $30M+ in size.
  • Ability to manage 5-10 projects simultaneously.
  • Firm knowledge of construction, architecture, or commercial real estate industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quantity-takeoff software Bluebeam.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience in managing high-end Corporate Interior projects.
