About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and executing comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Monitoring and analyzing website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborating with content creators and digital marketing teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility.
• Executing link-building activities to ensure quality links from reputable sources.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as content, design, and product, to ensure optimal content performance.
• Conducting thorough keyword research, SEO analysis, and LLM research to identify relevant target keywords, phrases, and prompts.
• Optimizing website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs to align with target keywords and enhance search engine and LLM crawlability.
• Identifying technical SEO issues and collaborating with web development teams to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience.
• Conducting SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establishing SEO baselines and KPIs, tracking website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to assess strategy effectiveness.
• Staying abreast of emerging SEO trends and exploring innovative approaches to enhance SEO efforts further.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Relevant SEO certifications (such as from Google, HubSpot, and/or Semrush).
• 6+ years of experience as an SEO manager or in a similar SEO-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing trends.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, Lighthouse, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO, and SEO reporting tools.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization platforms like VWO, Contently, and WordPress.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Basic understanding of website design, development, HTML/CSS coding, PPC advertising, and link-building strategies.
• Knowledge of technical SEO, including speed optimization for web and mobile.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Familiarity with social media marketing and its impact on SEO.
• Experience with SEO testing and experimentation.
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple SEO initiatives simultaneously.
