About the Role

The Software Development Engineer role involves leading the design and development of high-impact, scalable solutions while mentoring peers and driving technical excellence. The candidate will be part of the Zoom Ecosystem team responsible for designing, building, and deploying strategic Zoom Apps to the Zoom Marketplace, creating impactful integration apps for Zoom's valued customers and immersing themselves in the complete software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn roadmap vision into deliverables.
Designing and delivering customer-facing features.
Implementing cloud-based automation and deployment strategies.
Providing technical troubleshooting and customer support.
Analyzing and optimizing program performance.
Creating technical design documents and API documentation.
Leading and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related major, with 7-10 years of software engineering experience.
Be a fullstack web application developer, with expertise in cloud infrastructure technologies (i.e., Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, NoSQL), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), and HTML5 and CSS.
Have experience with database technologies such as MySQL, AWS S3, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
Have strong programming experience in Java and experience with Java open source frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Have experience in cloud computing, application security, and be familiar with secure development practices.
Have experience in building application platform solutions integrating with third-party applications and services.
