About the Role

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. This role is part of a new investment in supporting iOS phones with AR glasses, aiming to provide iOS users with a complete experience similar to Android users. The Google Augmented Reality team focuses on building immersive computing foundations and delivering helpful, delightful user experiences accessible to billions through mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities

Adapt, build, and launch first-party experiences for mobile platforms paired with next-generation wearables.
Ensure sameness, as much as possible, between offerings on iOS and other platforms.
Ensure support for iOS feels native and idiomatic to the platform.
Work closely with UX and PM to define, prototype, and test experiences to discover what experiences users value the most and how to improve the experiences to provide more value to users.
Collaborate cross-functionally to build features that leverage the best of Google products and services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with mobile application development.
Software development experience in Objective-C or Swift using iOS or OS X frameworks.

Nice to Have

Experience with Kotlin.
Familiarity with Android application development.

Qualifications

Experience with mobile application development on iOS platforms.
Proficiency in SwiftUI, Xcode, or similar tools.

US base salary range of $166,000-$244,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
