Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product owners, designers, and fellow engineers-to build reliable, scalable systems.
Work closely with clients, market experts, and the broader team to build innovative solutions that solve industry problems.
Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of new product features and services.
Learn and apply the latest technologies to cloud native solutions.
Write clean, maintainable code accompanied by comprehensive automated tests.
Review pull requests, mentor other engineers, and elevate the technical standards within the team.
Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and process improvements.
Participate in on-call rotation and support production systems, embracing shared ownership.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within product-oriented teams (external/client facing solutions).
Proficient in building and deploying applications using modern tools and frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.
Adept at navigating ambiguity, simplifying complex problems, and balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.
Collaborative by nature, valuing pairing, whiteboarding sessions, and learning from diverse perspectives.
Passionate about delivering high-quality products that enhance client experiences and drive sustainability in transportation.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with the tech stack including Python, Postgres, Node, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, GCP, Terraform, Docker, BigQuery, dbt, GCP Monitoring.
Experience with cloud native solutions and infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.
