Kensho is S&P Global's hub for AI innovation and transformation. Key Responsibilities

Design core, backend software components that power the Kensho language models and other products
Build tools to empower the engineering teams
Code using primarily python, jsonnet, and other languages
Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and support their workflows
Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources

Requirements

5 years of relevant work experience in software development
Professional coding experience and fluency in any 2 of Python, C++, Rust, or Go
Experience architecting and developing large scale distributed systems
Experience designing and deploying solutions to major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, with solid understanding of CI/CD practices
Experience in concurrency, multithreading, and synchronization
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments

Nice to Have

Your github account showing practical, entrepreneurial initiative
Experience building distributed systems or collaborating on internal tools
Experience building systems processing large amounts of data
Experience productionizing large machine learning models (LLMs)
Experience in MLOps
Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, PostgreSQL
Experience with Ubuntu Linux or similar operating systems

Relevant work experience in software development (minimum 5 years)
