As a Senior Android Software Engineer on the Ads team, you will play a critical role in building and scaling ads at Roblox, focusing on immersive ad experiences integrated into gameplay to enhance user engagement and platform growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build, ship, and maintain features to improve the user experience for millions of users
Work with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data partners to drive the future of content discovery
Write efficient code that remains performant across a range of platforms and devices
Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests
Build intuitive and high performing Android features for the ads experience
Design scalable solutions that empower creators with more control over ad placement and performance
Ensure high-quality user experiences across both the portal and in-experience ad displays

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software development
4+ years of experience with Android, cross-platform UI technologies, and/or web
4+ years of experience building and launching consumer-facing features with design, product, and/or other partners
Passionate about users and creating the best possible experience
Versatile in switching between languages and eager to learn new technologies
Analytical mindset with ability to solve puzzles related to user interaction and performance optimization
Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration and supporting peers

Nice to Have

Experience with cross-platform UI technologies
Experience with web development
Experience building consumer-facing features in collaboration with design and product teams

Qualifications
