As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. Key Responsibilities

Set technical strategy for multiple teams contributing to building the Code Assist general purpose SDLC Agent (and associated platform).
Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing or other Machine Learning discipline.
Experience in Generative AI (Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).

Nice to Have

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.

Benefits & Perks

US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
