About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies, with a focus on making datasets and API Microservices in JAVA deployed to AKS using GitHub.
• Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
• Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
• Facilitate and support the software deployment process.
• Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications, and assess hardware/software interactions.
• Execute development methodologies through application of various programming languages.
• Create and execute automated test plans/strategies, validate test environments, data, and results, and produce associated reporting.
• Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues, including various testing types such as security, interface, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in SQL (Advanced skills REQUIRED).
• Experience with GitHub code repository management, including creating and merging branches.
• Intermediate knowledge of JAVA API development.
• Intermediate knowledge of SpringBoot and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes (AKS) containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of Python and/or PySpark.
• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry Skills (e.g., Workshop, Contour, Slate), Python, PySpark, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Palantir Foundry AI Skills (e.g., AIP, Ontology, Functions).
• Understanding of AI Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with Co-Pilot and Snowflake.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge in AI technologies and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry AI Skills such as AIP, Ontology, and Functions.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3-5 years of experience.
• Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
