Senior Staff DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation and CI/CD pipelines for application deployment across public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Manage and monitor containerized applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and deploy critical tooling for application logging, monitoring, and reporting (e.g., Grafana, LogStash).
• Architect and deploy secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements (e.g., CIS, STIG).
• Provide support and maintenance for specialized cloud security products like Zscaler, and demonstrate familiarity with CDNs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in cloud environments (AWS strongly preferred), Linux system administration, and scripting with Python.
• Demonstrated proficiency with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins) and container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to partner effectively with technical and design teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role.

Nice to Have

• Experience with application security tooling (SAST, SCA).
• Familiarity with setting up and reporting on code coverage measurements and unit testing frameworks (e.g., Junit).
• Proficiency with Git version control, including advanced branching strategies and workflow management.
