About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and deploying state-of-the-art conditional visual generative models.
• Interacting with multi-functional stakeholders to gather product requirements and translating these into actionable ML research and development plans.
• Communicating results and insights to partners and senior leaders, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
• Staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in machine learning, visual generative models, multi-modal foundation models, computer vision, and natural language understanding.
• Contributing to the ML community within the company by sharing research ideas, enhancing shared infrastructure, and mentoring colleagues.

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or comparable professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience training large-scale visual generative models (e.g., diffusion models) and/or adapting pre-trained models for downstream tasks.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Proven research and innovation background demonstrated through publications, patents, or impactful industry experience.
• Experience transitioning prototypes into shipping products.
• Familiarity with developing algorithms for resource-constrained platforms.
• Leadership experience in applied research and development.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting research to large audiences, and ability to work in multi-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Educational background with a Masters or Ph.D. in relevant fields or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in training large-scale visual generative models or adapting pre-trained models.
• Technical proficiency in Python, C++, and deep learning frameworks like Pytorch.
