The role of SEO Content Manager for Urology involves leading organic growth through SEO strategy, content optimization, and website performance to enhance brand visibility, lead generation, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive SEO, website, and content strategy for Aeroflow Urology in collaboration with leadership, marketing, and external SEO agencies to improve organic search performance, lead volume, and brand awareness.
  • Develop, prioritize, and manage the editorial calendar and content roadmap with internal writers, coordinators, and external partners.
  • Optimize new and existing content for search rankings, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions by applying on-page SEO best practices such as metadata, headers, schema, and internal linking.
  • Conduct and oversee technical SEO audits to address crawlability, indexation, page speed, mobile usability, and site health issues.
  • Partner with developers and UX/UI teams to implement technical SEO recommendations, including site architecture, page load improvements, and mobile usability enhancements.
  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing initiatives for web pages and content, from ideation to measurement, in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Track and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and ensure reporting is up-to-date and insightful.
  • Manage the external SEO agency and internal SEO & Editorial team, providing guidance, training, and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team on campaigns, PR, link building, and other initiatives.
  • Act as the SEO subject matter expert within the organization, advising on SEO’s role in broader marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a hands-on, SEO-focused content marketing role.
  • Proven success in developing and executing SEO strategies that increase organic traffic, leads, and improve keyword rankings.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and readability.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Magento/Adobe Commerce, WordPress, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including site speed, crawlability, indexation, and implementation.
  • Experience conducting site audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis using industry-standard tools.
  • Ability to lead SEO initiatives from conception to execution while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring marketing team members.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex SEO strategies to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.

  • Experience working in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries.
  • Understanding of patient acquisition funnels and healthcare lead generation.
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven SEO/content tools like Clearscope.
  • Background in integrated digital marketing aligning SEO with paid, social, and email marketing efforts.
  • Track record of building scalable SEO processes and teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to Google algorithm changes and industry shifts.
