SEO Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own the process of researching, aggregating, and analyzing data to support Insurify's content and front-end features
• Assist in creating more efficient processes for developing, cleaning, and integrating new data sources
• Create replicable, scalable aggregation views of proprietary datasets
• Display aggregated data to support Insurify content
• Analyze SEO product and business performance data by running A/B tests
• Maintain dashboards and prepare key visuals for broader stakeholders
• Dive deep into data to uncover new insights in user behavior
• Document and create solutions for data quality issues
• Tackle various structured and unstructured data problems

Requirements

• B.A. / B.S. degree in technical/quantitative disciplines or equivalent experience
• Experience with SQL, Python, and spreadsheets
• Interest in or experience with building modern web applications and web product management
• Willing and motivated to learn the business and industry background to interpret data
• A team player with a solid work ethic, adaptable to multiple projects, and eager to learn from mistakes

Nice to Have

• Experience with front-end web development concepts and technical SEO
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and web frameworks such as Gatsby, Next.js
• Experience using data within journalism
• Experience with BI tools like Mode, Sisense, Tableau

Qualifications

• Formal educational background in technical or quantitative disciplines (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent experience
