About the Role

Absolute Web is a full-service e-commerce agency headquartered in Miami, Florida. We partner with fast-growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands across Shopify Plus, Magento, and BigCommerce to deliver impactful growth through technology, design, and marketing. We are seeking a hands-on SEO Specialist / SEO Manager with proven experience optimizing e-commerce websites. This individual will lead SEO initiatives across multiple client projects, focusing on driving organic growth and implementing the latest strategies to keep brands competitive in traditional search engines and emerging LLM/AI search landscapes. This is an in-person position in our Miami office — we believe in collaboration, strategy sessions, and problem-solving together as a team.

Key Responsibilities

Run day-to-day SEO execution across multiple e-commerce projects.
Support technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, schema, site architecture, site speed).
Conduct keyword research, clustering, and mapping for large catalogs.
Optimize category and product pages (including metadata, content briefs, FAQs, schema, and interlinking).
Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions; prepare and maintain Looker Studio reports.
Collaborate with developers and designers on technical and UX fixes.
QA and review new content for SEO compliance before publishing.
Support link-building campaigns (prospecting, evaluating opportunities).
Join client calls occasionally (in English) to explain SEO progress and next steps.
Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Requirements

3+ years of SEO experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce websites.
Strong knowledge of Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce, with a focus on SEO-specific details.
Strong technical SEO skills (crawl optimization, canonicalization, hreflang, schema).
Advanced use of Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, GSC, GTM, Merchant Center.
Strong written and spoken English skills.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
