Job Description

About the Role

The SEO Manager will lead the development and execution of the company's Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy. They will be responsible for driving organic traffic and leads, improving keyword rankings, and increasing visibility across all digital platforms. The role involves collaboration with content, product, analytics, and web teams to optimize digital presence and performance. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite at the headquarters in Newton, MA. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits to identify growth and optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize landing pages and content for search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Develop link building strategy to improve domain authority.
  • Analyze and report on KPIs such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, organic leads, and bounce rate.
  • Monitor trends, emerging platforms, and algorithm updates to ensure strategies remain current.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and product teams to optimize existing content and guide new content development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SEO.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog, GA4, etc.
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or HubSpot.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment.
