About the Role

SEO Locale is Philadelphia's premier digital marketing agency, dedicated to providing a full 360 experience in digital marketing. The SEO Manager role involves supporting the SEO team with in-depth digital marketing efforts, developing and implementing SEO strategies to enhance website rankings, increase organic traffic, and drive overall digital marketing success. This position emphasizes autonomy, creativity, and staying at the forefront of digital marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings, increase organic traffic, and support digital marketing goals.
Oversee on-page and off-page SEO efforts, including keyword research, website structure, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
Conduct keyword research and analyze website performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with content, development, and social media teams to optimize search visibility.
Utilize SEO and digital marketing tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog for performance tracking and optimization.
Maintain SEO reports, performance tracking spreadsheets, and ongoing optimization documentation.
Participate in client calls, provide strategy discussions, and report on SEO performance and insights.
Work independently to manage multiple SEO projects and deadlines with a sense of urgency.
Adjust priorities quickly based on industry updates, client needs, and urgent requests.

Requirements

Experience and full understanding of on-page and off-page SEO strategies, keyword research, and technical SEO.
Experience implementing SEO best practices for website structure, content, and link-building strategies.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others.
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and comfort meeting with clients in person and on the phone.
Ability to quickly adjust priorities in response to industry updates and client needs.

Nice to Have

Experience working in a creative and collaborative office environment.
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts beyond SEO.

Qualifications

Experience with SEO strategies and tools
Knowledge of website structure, content optimization, and link-building
