SEO Marketing Account Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Managing multiple client accounts with quick answers to marketing questions.
• Leading monthly check-ins with clients and walking them through their marketing strategy and progress.
• Leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Google Data Studio, and Lighthouse to provide results for clients.
• Troubleshooting new or complex SEO issues through external research and collaboration with peers.
• Partnering with clients through a consulting relationship to identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
• Presenting to stakeholders at the CEO, CMO, Director, and Manager levels.
• Leading the internal client team to deliver high-quality results on time and aligned with client expectations.
• Identifying and fixing technical SEO issues related to the client's website.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of marketing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great presentation skills.
• Ability to learn new things quickly and think on your feet.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Proven professional track record, preferably in an office setting.
• Excellent computer skills and aptitude for learning new software and programs.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of emails, relationships, and tasks.

Nice to Have

• Previous SEO experience (not required but a plus).
• Experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Lighthouse.
• Interest in mission-driven sectors like nonprofit, healthcare, education, and social impact.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt.
• Strong academic performance with a minimum 3.8 GPA and strong test scores (implied).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision.

• Base salary of $70,000 - $85,000 with potential bonuses.
• Monthly stipend of $100 for health insurance if not enrolled in company plan.
