About the Role

The Organic Search Manager at NextEra Energy, specifically within Gexa Energy, will develop and scale the company's organic search strategy to drive measurable growth. This role involves managing external agencies, collaborating with internal teams, and focusing on content, technical SEO, and results reporting to enhance organic search visibility across traditional and AI-based search engine platforms. The position directly impacts brand visibility, page rank, and customer acquisition efforts in the energy industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and innovative energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own, develop, and manage internal and external agency organic search strategies and tactics.
Manage, measure, and evaluate organic search agency performance.
Develop strategies to maximize brand and non-brand visibility, page rank, and conversions through traditional and AI-based search results.
Own content strategy by partnering with external agencies to produce engaging, search-optimized content for digital properties.
Track, measure, and report on the impact of organic search strategies on page ranking, leads, and new customer acquisition.
Identify and drive technical enhancements to improve page rank performance.
Proactively identify and address on-page organic search opportunities, including technical SEO.
Manage external agencies and collaborate with internal teams to develop robust SEO strategies.
Analyze external data sources and internal Google Analytics reports to improve performance.
Work with creative services to produce compelling, results-driven content.

Requirements

Strong, practical working experience managing organic search, including agency and in-house marketing experience.
Experience driving organic search leads and sales growth for recurring service models or eCommerce.
Ability to analyze data from external sources and Google Analytics to improve performance.
Experience working with creative teams to produce effective content.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with ambiguity.
Self-starter with leadership skills to develop and activate strategies.
Experience with developing and managing budgets.
Google Analytics Certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

Agency management experience.
Experience with AI-based search platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of experience in marketing or related fields.
