SEO Operations Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage internal SEO projects, oversee development backlogs, and drive organic search growth to acquire new customers.
• Partner with the TurboTax SEO team to manage the end-to-end execution of SEO projects and initiatives.
• Own the prioritization and execution of the SEO roadmap, including technical SEO, content, and link optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and program managers to identify solutions and remove barriers to project completion.
• Provide channel strategy support for various TurboTax platforms, including mobile app and support experiences.
• Partner with product management and development leads to create and maintain an SEO product roadmap aligned with customer and business goals.
• Act as the customer expert for development teams, guiding them on new features and capabilities.
• Track planning and release progress, providing detailed status reports on Tech SEO initiatives.
• Create and maintain operational documents and daily processes, including managing JIRA and Smartsheet.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, using strong communication skills to manage expectations and timelines.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of SEO experience with strong project management skills.
• Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, content marketing, and link optimization.
• Familiarity with SEO tools and analytics platforms like Google Search Console.
• Experience working with development teams and content creators, including knowledge of platforms, migrations, and technically detailed projects.
• Ability to lead complex projects across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with senior leaders, product managers, and channel managers.
• Highly organized with the ability to perform well under pressure and collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet and JIRA.
• Experience managing projects that leverage Generative AI (GenAI) for content creation and localization strategies.
• Experience managing data needs and requirements, following up on blockers, and driving weekly operations meetings.
