SEO Product Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SEO strategy and execution, from roadmap planning to tactical rollout.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives in collaboration with engineering, focusing on crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, and canonicalization.
• Apply SEO best practices to execute on-page SEO (metadata, headings, keyword targeting) and off-page SEO (link acquisition, publisher outreach, citations).
• Manage and evolve systems for content publishing, including editorial SEO standards and optimization for finance-specific SERP features such as People Also Ask, Google Knowledge Panel, etc.
• Conduct cross-platform keyword research to guide content direction and maximize organic visibility.
• Use analytics tools to track performance, identify insights, and report on channel growth, engagement, and ROI.
• Design and implement systems for optimizing across evolving search ecosystems including LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude).
• Optimize for Google SGE/AI Overviews and AI-powered SERP elements to ensure brand visibility in structured snippets, PAA, and social mentions.
• Guide and prioritize production of video, Reddit content, and social forum engagement to support non-traditional organic visibility.
• Partner with growth and brand teams to align SEO with TikTok, Instagram, and other emerging social platforms as discovery engines.
• Analyze and improve organic landing pages for conversion rate, intent alignment, and lead quality.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and analytics teams to test and optimize conversion funnels across search entry points.
• Develop and track KPIs related to traffic growth, ranking improvements, and conversion metrics such as lead form completion or application starts.
• Serve as product lead for SEO-related features and initiatives, creating specs, tickets, and prioritizing engineering sprints.
• Coordinate with engineering, content, analytics, and marketing teams to drive roadmap alignment.
• Oversee SEO experimentation and test architecture across site templates, content types, and linking models.
• Drive authority-building efforts through third-party content syndication, backlink outreach, and high-authority publishing.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of experience in SEO, growth product, or technical marketing, ideally in finance, fintech, or B2C SaaS.
• Deep understanding of modern SEO including SERP feature optimization, structured data, and LLM search integration.
• Experience working with or leading engineering teams on web products or SEO infrastructure.
• Strong familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and analytics platforms like GA4, Heap, or Amplitude.
• Proven success in non-brand search growth, conversion testing, and cross-functional product management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with publishing on authoritative third-party finance platforms or PR-driven link building.
• Background in managing influencer-led or UGC strategies tied to organic growth on platforms like Reddit, YouTube, TikTok.
