SEO Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightEdge, and internal data to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Collaborate with the SEO Lead to refine prioritization and workflows for SEO initiatives.
• Recommend and implement updates to URLs, body content, title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking to align with SEO best practices and business objectives.
• Perform regular technical audits to identify crawl, indexation, and performance issues, providing actionable recommendations and tracking resolution progress.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual SEO performance reports, tracking KPIs such as traffic, rankings, CTR, and conversions.
• Monitor and optimize KeyBank's presence across local listings and map packs, ensuring accuracy and consistency of business information.
• Support the development of marketing strategies and insights from analysis, testing hypotheses, and recommending strategies based on insights.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners including analytics, creative services, agencies, compliance, and leadership to support marketing plan development and execution.
• Follow established marketing processes, manage risks effectively, and escalate potential risks as needed.
• Maintain internal policies and procedures, including updating and drafting training materials, and assist in designing marketing plans and tactics for assigned product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital creative marketing development processes.
• Understanding of banking products and segment needs.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on key objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightEdge.
• Knowledge of website traffic metrics, technical SEO, and local search management.

Benefits & Perks

• Eligible for a base salary ranging from $71,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
