About the Role

The Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US) role at Abe, a new venture within the Directive family, focuses on social media advertising for B2B clients, primarily leveraging LinkedIn to reach, engage, and convert target audiences. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, innovative agency that emphasizes a growth mindset, customer generation methodology, and a collaborative, future-focused culture. The role reports to the Associate Director and is integral to the LinkedIn media team, working directly with mid-market and enterprise clients to develop and execute paid media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts.
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts.
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and improvements.
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns.
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
  • Responsible for personal productivity and utilization.
  • Work directly with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved.
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network.
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency, preferably with B2B.
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
  • Understanding of different Ad Units within the LinkedIn Platform such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more.
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and others.
  • Strong understanding of Paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms.
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT.
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Bonus for experience in B2B marketing.
  • Experience with programmatic campaigns.
  • Experience with tools like Zoominfo, 6Sense, and similar platforms.

Qualifications

  • Established and current work authorization for the US or relevant country.
  • Ability to operate a laptop and necessary software tools.
  • Reliable internet access and a professional background.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and interpret written/verbal communication.
