Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute an integrated social media strategy aligned with firmwide objectives and campaigns.
  • Own the planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of all posts across primary platforms: Facebook (2 accounts), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, LinkedIn, and engage on relevant platforms (Reddit, etc.) to improve EEAT.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to curate topics for social and video, blog, newsletter, and authoritative content.
  • Lead content opportunities by identifying co-branding and joint promotional content with industry partners.
  • Produce visually compelling graphics, videos, reels, and stories using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) to maintain brand consistency.
  • Implement social SEO best practices to maximize efficacy and improve reach, engagement, visibility, and drive traffic in alignment with our website, blog, and paid campaigns.
  • Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for web, pr, and social media that resonates with clients and prospects to generate interest, using SEO best practices.
  • Track platform metrics, monitor trends, and provide monthly reports with recommendations for optimization.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and interactions across platforms to maintain an active and compassionate presence.
  • Assist with development and implementation of community events.
  • Partner with attorneys and internal teams to create stories, highlight case victories, promote community involvement and client testimonials to support EEAT initiatives.
  • Write, optimize and publish content on the firm's WordPress website.
  • Assist with marketing department projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of relevant professional, content-focused, experience in social media marketing, ideally in a professional services or agency setting.
  • Track record of successful B2C social media experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, etc.).
  • Experience with SEO for social media, content optimization, and analytics tools.
  • Certified in Google Analytics and familiar with GSC to inform monthly reporting a plus.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills tailored for web and social platforms and search engines including AI.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management across multiple platforms and projects.
  • Familiarity with SM automation systems such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or Plann.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Experience with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for marketing, e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong passion and desire to engage on social media in real-time.
  • Flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GSC (Google Search Console) for reporting.
  • Experience with community engagement and event coordination.
  • Knowledge of legal or professional services marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of relevant professional experience in social media marketing.
