About the Role

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. It is a world-renowned entertainment, gaming, and hospitality destination that features extensive amenities including upscale guestrooms, a large gaming floor, multiple dining options, a concert venue, and various recreational facilities. The resort is located on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation and offers a vibrant, energetic environment focused on entertainment and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all social media marketing efforts including research, strategy, and implementation of emerging digital media, social media, and paid online advertising.
  • Build, maintain, and engage audiences on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and new/emerging platforms.
  • Participate in planning, development, and implementation of social media strategies, content calendars, and tactical plans to ensure relevance to the audience.
  • Coordinate social media photography and video production efforts.
  • Develop and execute mobile and social media campaigns to grow market share and awareness.
  • Measure and report performance of marketing activities, identify trends and insights, and optimize plans accordingly.
  • Extend marketing initiatives into external publications like news sites and blogs.
  • Support advertising team to align digital and traditional media communications.
  • Monitor online reviews on sites such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, and OTA sites, and respond accordingly.
  • Write content for company blog and social platforms.
  • Research local music trends to ensure relevance in the music community and with consumers.
  • Adjust music playlists and other initiatives based on current trends and clientele.
  • Evaluate and improve guest experiences based on interactions, industry trends, and corporate initiatives.
  • Support community engagement and involvement efforts.
  • Participate in the induction and ongoing training of staff, focusing on company culture, music, and the spirit of Rock ‘n Roll.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer service issues and support marketing efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management, hospitality, marketing, or business administration.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of direct marketing, advertising, and brand marketing experience including digital, mobile, and emerging campaigns.
  • At least 1 year of social media/web 2.0 experience as an online marketer.
  • Full knowledge of the music industry (national and local) and lifestyle hotel products.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects without being overwhelmed.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging, and social media applications for advertising.
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms for campaigns.
  • Understanding of social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and blogs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to assist in planning, development, and implementation of projects/programs.
  • Work well under pressure of deadlines and exercise initiative and strategic thinking.
  • Experience in brand management, development, and implementation is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees, vendors, and outside organizations.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Effective communication in English, both written and oral.

  • Experience in brand management, development, and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management, hospitality, marketing, or business administration.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
