About the Role

Join our Marketing Team at Bernick's! We are a family-owned company and a wholesale distributor of Pepsi products, beverages, fountain drinks, beer, vending products, THC/CBD, and food services in central MN and western WI. As part of our team, you help us create an experience that makes customers say, “Bernick's is our preferred partner!” The Social Media and Events Intern will assist in growing our brands and culture through content creation, engagement, and event promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Create and share content that promotes our brands and drives engagement with target audiences.
Develop and maintain social media brand presence, including video and photo content.
Maintain consistent communication, build brand awareness, and develop relationships with relevant people.
Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize performance; report as requested.
Collaborate with Marketing to set editorial calendar and scheduling requirements, including monthly publishing schedule.
Grow social media following and create shareable content for company pages and accounts.
Attend local events to sample and promote Bernick's beverage brands to consumers.
Promote beverage attributes, educate consumers, and share related programming if applicable.
Work with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, and HR.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, friendliness, and professionalism.
Be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Have the ability to build relationships with consumers and customers.
Possess excellent organization, communication, and social media skills.
Proficient in Microsoft business tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to Have

Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
Ability to attend events during evenings and weekends.
Willingness to travel within MN & WI.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a post-secondary program related to marketing, sales, or business administration.
