Social Media & Relationship Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Implement CCM's social media strategy for Workforce Development (WFD).
• Develop and maintain an active social media presence promoting WFD courses, programs, apprenticeships, grant-supported training, success stories, and workforce education.
• Work closely with the WFD Coordinator to align on content to highlight.
• Contribute to marketing efforts to promote the college's Center for Workforce Development.
• Engage with audiences to drive enrollment.
• Create content around specific WFD offerings and distribute via email blasts.
• Review and report social media metrics to the Director of Marketing & PR on a monthly basis.
• Use insights from metrics to identify opportunities, gaps, and shifts needed to maintain optimal social media presence.
• Capture content for social media, which may include some weekend and evening hours.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required with a minimum of 1-3 years of strong work-related experience.
• Must be collaborative and able to work in a highly creative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Highly proficient in Hootsuite, Social Media Platforms, Google Analytics, Canva, Constant Contact.
• Experience in using other MS Office Suite applications and MS 365.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in higher education.
