Social Media Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Input, organize, and update the content calendar under the coordinator's direction
• Respond to DMs, comments, tags, and mentions to foster an active brand voice
• Capture in-store content, support UGC collection, assist with editing and formatting
• Track deliverables, flag delays, and maintain influencer communication logs
• Surface relevant audio and viral content for content inspiration
• Assist on-set with coordination, props, and behind-the-scenes content
• Pull weekly metrics, track engagement trends, and compile basic reports
• Manage scheduling queues, upload content, tag posts, and update Highlights/link-in-bio tools
• Organize visuals, videos, and creative assets in shared team folders
• Assist with day-of event coverage, track press mentions, and help organize campaign-related assets

Requirements

• Experience in social media at a brand (specific experience in health/wellness is a huge plus)
• Strong familiarity with all things social (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
• Experience in content creation and video editing

Nice to Have

• Experience in health and wellness social media
• Additional skills in social media advertising, community management, or influencer collaborations
