About the Role

The Social Media Associate at Xometry's Thomas Marketing Services will lead clients' social media efforts from strategy to execution. This role involves developing and managing social media content, conducting audits, creating actionable strategies aligned with business goals, overseeing organic and paid campaigns, monitoring performance, and staying updated on social media trends to improve processes. The position supports the manufacturing sector and requires a strategic, innovative approach to digital marketing within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Research and learn about clients' industrial manufacturing techniques and products to understand their customers' interests and needs
Leverage social media tools and analytics data to conduct client and competitor social media audits
Translate audit findings into clear, actionable strategies and tactics to meet business goals
Plan, create, edit, and manage client social content, including text and video, ensuring brand adherence and performance
Develop and execute comprehensive paid social media strategies, including creating campaign assets, implementing across platforms, and ongoing monitoring and optimization
Monitor activity on clients' social accounts and coordinate influence marketing campaigns as requested
Track content effectiveness by channel against goals, report monthly on results versus targets
Align social media strategies with other digital initiatives to identify interaction opportunities
Recommend opportunities for optimization and evolve strategies based on performance data
Stay informed on emerging social media and video trends and identify opportunities to leverage them for clients
Participate in educational sessions such as webinars, seminars, and conferences to expand social media knowledge and share insights with the team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
4+ years of experience in Digital Marketing; agency experience preferred
Proficiency in digital marketing functions related to organic and paid social media marketing
Exceptional written and verbal English skills
Experience with Hubspot, Google Analytics, or WordPress
Creative mindset with knowledge of current marketing trends
Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
Some knowledge of SEO, marketing automation, social media, and B2B writing best practices
Outstanding communication and people skills
Industry knowledge in B2B and/or manufacturing sectors
Certifications such as Hubspot (Social Media Marketing or Inbound), Google Analytics (GA4), or LinkedIn Marketing Labs are a plus

Nice to Have

Certifications in related fields such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn Marketing Labs

Qualifications
